Pokemon Legends: Z-A‘s new Mega Dimension DLC trailer officially reveals the release date and new Mega Evolutions coming to the game. While Pokemon Legends: Z-A has been out for just three weeks, the game doesn’t have very deep endgame systems in place to provide players with lots of replayable content, and with the Mega Dimension DLC being announced before the base game was even out, it makes sense to see a full reveal so soon.
Much like leaks pointed out, the upcoming Pokemon Legends: Z-A DLC will include several new Mega Evolutions, new story content, and more. Not all of the new Mega Evolutions or game features have been revealed so far, but fans just got a glimpse of what Hyperspace Lumiose City has to offer. Alongside the already revealed Mega Evolutions for Raichu, players can now take a look at two new ones, and they are coming out very soon.
Pokemon Legends: Z-A’s Mega Dimension DLC Officially Confirms Mega Chimecho and Baxcalibur
The Mega Dimension DLC’s release date for Pokemon Legends: Z-A is officially set for Wednesday, December 10. So far, what is confirmed is as follows:
- Mega Dimension DLC release date (December 10)
- Mega Raichu X
- Mega Raichu Y
- Mega Chimecho
- Mega Baxcalibur
- Hyperspace Lumiose City is an alternate version of the base game’s setting
- Level 100+ Pokemon can be found
-
The pre-order bonus includes the existing two outfits with the addition of special Poke Balls:
- Fast Ball x3
- Lure Ball x3
- Level Ball x3
- Heavy Ball x3
- New Diancie side mission and Mega Stone are now available in the base game
- Several returning Pokemon are confirmed
- Korrina is back as an ally in the Mega Dimension DLC
Previous leaks had already confirmed there would be a Mega Evolution for Heatran, Darkrai, and Zeraora, and dataminers then found scrubbed data from in-game files regarding a few specific Pokemon, including both Chimecho and Baxcalibur among 16 other critters. Now that the trailer is out, fans can take a look at the brand new Megas for Chimecho and Baxcalibur, though there’s bad news regarding the latter.
Unfortunately, the Mega Stone for Baxcalibur will only be available in the Pokemon Legends: Z-A ranked rewards for Season 4, much like Greninjite in Season 1, Delphoxite in Season 2, and Chesnaughtite in Season 3. This means that players will need to pay for a Nintendo Switch Online subscription or use a 7-day free trial, if still available, to play online battles and claim the reward.
